A Longer Table strengthens school cafeterias so children are nourished and prepared to learn by building the workforce and systems to support scratch cooking.

Opening Doors
Through Food

The Food Fellowship is A Longer Table’s paid, college-credit culinary internship for high school students in Marion County.

Fellows train in professional kitchens, building skills in scratch cooking, food safety, teamwork, and high-volume meal preparation while earning industry credentials and Ivy Tech college credit.

The Fellowship gives young people a strong start in culinary careers while helping build the next generation of skilled professionals school cafeterias need.
